Thank you to all of my friends and family for your kind messages on my birthday! They brightened my day! Over the weekend the sun was out and the sound of bird chirps sweetened the air, which made for a gorgeous birthday weekend! I began my birthday celebrations with my best friend, Sarah, and her sweet family! We had a fun day laughing over lunch, and shopping for Spring.
With all this sunshine and happiness it's a must for me to wear bright colors! I'm obsessed with kimonos! I picked up two beauties this week. The first is from francesca's and the other is from forever 21! Both are steals for under $50! For my lunch date I chose this bright peach kimono. I paired it with leggings, a long sleeve shirt and a pair of classy flats!

On Friday, my mom and I had a daughter, mom date. We spent the morning getting pampered at the spa and then had high tea at the Capitol.
On Saturday, we had a family celebration and we made our favorite salad from the Cheesecake Factory. I will be posting the recipe soon.
