Our Story

We're Tiffany, and Krystle, the ROSIE sisters.  Together we founded, ROSIE, as a dedication to our sister Krissy Rose "Rosie Toes". Our sweet sister. left this earth, at a mere 7 years old in a tragic car acdent that also took our father from us. She was the prettiest girl we've ever seen....so pure and angelic. We can still hear the sound of her giggling and see her beautiful smile. She was the best big sister. We miss her dearly. Tears pour down our cheeks as we wish we could have a sisterly conversation with her, filled with laughter. There was never an hour that went by that we didn't laugh, laugh, and laugh....probably because our daddy was teasing us.

When we were little our father gave each of us loving nicknames. Our oldest sister name is Krissy Rose so he cleverly came up with Krissy "Rosie Toes". When Tiffany entered into his arms he carried on the tradition and gave her the nickname of Tiffany Lee "The Bumblebee". Then along came his baby girl, Krystle Kathleen and he named her Krysle Kathleen "You're My Dream". These darling little nicknames have became our treasure.

Growing up our father worked for a company that required him to travel a lot and when he had to go someplace new he took along all of his princesses. We had a very loving, supportive and fun loving childhood. Unfortunately that childhood only lasted a few years. Our family planned a trip to Massachusetts. However, we never made it to Massachusetts. Our journey took a horrific twist in car crash caused by an illegally parked semi truck, whose driver was drinking and carrying illegal substances. The worst day we have ever experienced; it was the day our father and older sister were taken from this life. Writing the story hurts like they left yesterday and it's difficult to fight back the tears that flow down our cheeks.

All five of us where in the car, our father, mother, older sister, and us. Moments after the accident our mom and dad were rushed to the nearest hospital by ambulance. The three of us sisters were med flighted to the Children's hospital. That night our father and sister entered into the kingdom of heaven hand in hand. Our mom, and the two of us sisters were left to fight a tough battle. Tiffany broke her leg in the accident and the doctors at the first hospital set it wrong and her leg had begun to heal incorrectly. Thankfully, her grandmother had a feeling something was wrong and took her the Boston Children's hospital where she was a nurse. They quickly removed the cast and she under went surgery to have it rebroken. She was in the hospital for several months while her leg healed into the correct alignment. Krystle, the baby sister, was only 18 months old and miraculously her little body was only impacted by a small bruise on her little forehead. The doctors gave our mother a 1% chance of living. At the time of the accident she didn't know how much she needed to fight for her life but she fought and she fought hard. We are forever grateful for the hero that she is. For fighting to take another breathe when the doctors said it would be impossible. She unbeknowingly fought for her two little girls who without her would have no mommy or daddy! Our mom is the most amazing woman we have ever met. She says that her fight to live came from a supernatural God and without her faith in Him she would have never been able to fight for her life and the battle that haunted her after she recovered from the wounds of the accident. The battle only began as she was fighting to take another breathe. The battle intensified after she became coherent and was faced with the bitter nightmare that her husband and her precious little daughter had been torn away from her.
For me, at four years old learning that I wouldn't get a chance to sit on my daddy's lap or hear my sister giggle as my dad would tease us was extremely hard to comprehend. I remember being in church after the accident and praying that my daddy would walk in and pick me up and sing hymns songs with me like we used to do every Sunday. If only I could feel his strong loving arms pick me up and hold and protect his little princess. This is the pivotal moment in my story. Go back a sentence..... right to the point of wanting my daddy to pick me up! That is my story.... My earthly daddy couldn't pick me up but my heavenly daddy came in and picked up a broken little four year old whose life had been torn apart. My heavenly father lifted me up in His very strong arms and ever since I've had my arms wrapped around Him.... clinging to Him. (Tiffany Campbell)
Since the accident our story has had many twists and turns and ups and downs but throughout it all we continue to hold on tightly to our heavenly father. We are thankful for the love of Christ, and for our amazing literally amazing mother.
Below are lyrics to a song that resonates deep within our soul. The song is called "Held" sung by Natalie Grant. Songwriters: Wells, Christa Nichole
Two months is too little. They let him go.
They had no sudden healing.
To think that providence would
Take a child from his mother while she prays
Is appalling.
Who told us we'd be rescued?
What has changed and why should we be saved from nightmares?
We're asking why this happens
To us who have died to live?
It's unfair.

Chorus:
This is what it means to be held.
How it feels when the sacred is torn from your life
And you survive.
This is what it is to be loved.
And to know that the promise was
When everything fell we'd be held.
This hand is bitterness.
We want to taste it, let the hatred numb our sorrow.
The wise hands opens slowly to lilies of the valley and tomorrow.

(Chorus)
This is what it means to be held.
How it feels when the sacred is torn from your life
And you survive.
This is what it is to be loved.
And to know that the promise was
When everything fell we'd be held.
Bridge:
If hope is born of suffering.
If this is only the beginning.
Can we not wait for one hour watching for our Savior?

(Chorus)
This is what it means to be held.
How it feels when the sacred is torn from your life
And you survive.
This is what it is to be loved.
And to know that the promise was
When everything fell we'd be held.
